NOTICE: Steve has decided to retire from Evergreen Rowing and is handing it over to three of us (Deb, Haleigh, and me – Rod). It will take at least three of us to maintain what Steve has built and the role he has played in promoting Maas shells over 25 years.
For all of you who have bought a Maas shell from Steve, you know him to be honest, enthusiastic, and someone you can count on to provide you whatever you need to get on the water with your new shell. It is our intention to keep what Steve has built in place with even some possible improvements down the road.
All three of us row Maas shells on a regular basis. Haleigh and I will be rowing a Maas double in the Seventy48 race this year. I have already rowed a Maas 24 in this race five times and have rowed a Maas in nearly 80 Sound Rowers races over the last nine years in a variety of conditions so if you want to discuss how they perform in different water conditions, we are ready to give you a first hand account.
